Workshops are a great way to learn about various building techniques. The format of the workshops are fully customizable to fit the client's needs. They can have a more theoretical focus or hands-on approach aimed at kick-starting a building project and training a group of relatively inexperienced builders.

 

Workshops can cover adobe floors, clay and lime plasters, tadelakt, decorative finishes (claypaints, alises and reliefs), wall building techniques such as cob, strawbale and in-fill systems like light-clay straw and installing batt insulation.

 

If desired workshops can also include a classroom section. Possible subjects are appropriate designs for a variety of climates and passive solar design. But also for tadelakt and plaster workshops it is recommended to start with a classroom section to give participants a better understanding of what makes a strong and durable plaster.
